There might be a benefit to immeaditely blowing your coins on luxury very publicly. Yeah you wont have the coins to maneuver with but everyone else knows that too. And no one can get coins by voting you out.

Interesting Denise is still using the "lost" conceit, I don't think anyone is fooled by that. In 100% of past seasons with Extinction Island, the winner was someone voted off very early. Second charming boot is like picking a losers bracket winner.
