How many rivets do you suppose there are in total? My current project is epoxy heavy, so that's what I would do to fill in the empty holes, but it probably isn't great for a thin panel.

In my experience (all industrial, not automotive) you need terminating resistors at both ends. Sometimes it will work with just one for a really short two device bus, but only sometimes.

The rainbow looks great, very clean. Maybe that counts as camper style graphics for registration.
