Tbh this sounds exactly like what I expected, it's very, very on-brand for Tapkob and Battlestate. Don't run what you can't afford to lose! Except instead of run it's "enter an event" and instead of lose it's "get really frustrated with a studio running their first competition ever in a game with notoriously glitchy servers and massive numbers of wierd bugs." At least people got drops!
