The virus completely eats poo poo in air hotter than 85 F. So most of the country will probably see a decline in new cases starting June/July and then we'll probably see it start to come back around October/November. Which is particularly fantastic when you have sports like MLB saying delaying is no biggie because they can just play into November.

Here's an article citing a recent study that high temperatures make it more difficult for COVID-19 to transmit. But yeah, "eat's poo poo" was hyperbole. I swear there was a study posted in the D&D thread that was more affirmative that it really struggles in high temperatures, but that was a week ago and this study seems more recent.
