If you show the striped flag hanging out of your left pocket, that means you're a top/giver of whatever the color code means; your right pocket means bottom/receiver. So having, say, the red striped flag sticker on the right side of your bumper means you're totally into being carried out of burning buildings.

Inceltown posted:Yes, there are a poo poo tonne of vaccines being developed around the world right now and absolutely none of them are safe for mass deployment. Correct, that is indeed what "in development" means. But odds are good that at least one of them will prove out as safe and effective, and we'll all probably have an armload of it by the end of next year. These vaccines under development, designed for maximum effectiveness against this particular virus, are what is actually "literally the most promising lead we have right now", if I may use your term. The TB vaccine may indeed prove to give partial protection, and if so, we could see it given to frontline medical workers (or even general populations) for that reason. But at best it's a stopgap, not the way forward.

Looks to me like you used a such-and-such lens, because you'd be hard pressed to get a pic like that from a regular cellphone camera. Am I right?" and was just tone-deaf to his own dickishness. I was willing to cut Tyson a lot of slack as the various stories about him started coming out, precisely because of his association with Sagan (who was one of my childhood heroes). As if he'd been driven to sufficient desperation to try to pass a fake bill, as opposed to having gotten the thing in change somewhere and just never looked closely at it, which is a lot more likely. 2. They completely sidestep the issues of systemic racism and brutality in the police force. (But how important could those be here?) 3. At a moment that calls for a response along the lines of "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore", they came out with a "Here are some proposed alterations to tax policy and budgeting" statement. IT Crowd had some great bits that have become justifiably famous, especially when it stuck to its roots as a workplace comedy. I'm thinking of things like the new emergency number, the goth living in the server room, or Jen being given The Internet. But those are interspersed among a whole lot of episodes where the entire joke is "ha-ha, [character] is acting feminine and/or gay!" Sometimes it's in the same episode: the one with Jen breaking the Internet has a particularly infamous B-plot.

It's looking at the daily case count. And graphing what percent of those cases were in red states vs. blue states, as determined by the party of the state's governor. Since all the states fall into one of those two categories, then , a drop in one DOES necessarily mean a rise in the other. You're arguing that a graph that's barely more complex than Skittels Amount doesn't have enough shades of nuance to draw conclusions that it's not actually claiming to draw.
