I hope Ventura runs in 2024. I think his name recognition would at the very least get Greens the 5%, or whatever it is, threshold. Best case scenario, he runs and sweeps the GE because people finally get a loving clue that neither party gives a poo poo about anyone or anything other than what the rich rear end in a top hat donor class wants.

I think Ventura can go republican and backdoor the country blood red.  Literally all he needs to do is hammer on: -the democrat party being headed by literally the worst people currently alive on this planet -what a macho manly man he was in Predator and other such films -Obama's need to be tried for crimes at home and abroad -healthcare for EVERYONE, yes, even your enemies; once y'all are whole again, THEN you can duke it out if you really feel you need to -rebrand vaccinations as cheat codes for health

Every other Dem won their city council race at about 90%, and this is the highest percent of the vote a non-Democrat has won in the city in literally decades, so while it doesn't give us a seat it really does shape up the organizing landscape in the City. Massive cracks in the loyalty of the union movement to the Democratic machine, which were in turn built upon several years of radicals successfully wooing progressives to ally against entrenched power structures in the unions and other civil organizations.
