I'd rather have a party a little stingy on nuclear power if it means we topple corporatism.

Gang tag idea. Hope it's coming through just enough.

I went ahead and uploaded the non-animated gang tag because I prefer it that way. Wouldn't bother me at all if other people went with a different option though!

I scanned the thread and I couldn't find that twitter thread of the history of the Green party. Anyone have that?

That's so loving cowardly.

Every election is going to have a monster on the Republican side. They're all monsters. The only difference between them is :decorum:

I wonder if there are any Greens especially worth voting for in Missouri/STL? Democrats in certain offices are key to keeping abortion access so I'm not prepared to go straight ticket Green.

It is frustrating we have to suffer corporatism with the Democrats just to get basic rights. I know the Republicans won't provide them, but Democrats have a bunch of bullshit I don't need as well. So I've always felt like I was voting against a party and not for a party that represents me. I'm not going to do that anymore. If the Democrats start losing people to the Greens, they'll either change to accommodate or they'll lose.

The Democrats are comfortable putting Joe Biden up because they think people are too afraid of Trump to fight for an actually progressive candidate. News flash, every Republican is Trump. Every election it will be a Democrat vs the literal monster. Democrats aren't going to be incentivized to be more progressive if we're willing to vote for whatever centrist they give us out of fear of the Republican. gently caress anyone who uses scare tactics to try and force you to vote a certain way.

You know what's nice? Voting for someone because I like their platform, actually think they might deliver some or all of it, and think they might actually help people who need it. What a concept, eh?

I've lost all hope for anything to get better, but at least I can give one last gently caress you.

I'm glad you're voting Green, but instead of spite voting for them consider their platform and maybe you'd like to stick around for future elections. It's pretty great voting for a platform that I actually want rather than voting against a Republican.

I think the Greens and Socialists should just merge and be done with it. That'll get rid of the majority of the nuts.
