While we all knew what we were getting into with a toxx it does mean there are voices silenced - in some cases permanently - and unable to escape. I believe we can change that. FAQ Are toxx's being reversed/ignored? People get back in without  ? What's going on with this "forgiveness"?This is just a goon helping goons. It's not a mod/admin effort. i'm cool with this firstly, it's extremely on brand with the candidate secondly, this toxx caught enough people that it basically ate an entire loving day of mod work, took out a pretty significant percentage of the people who actually actively post on SA, and caused the mods to declare a moratorium on candidate toxxes. it's a pretty clear weird special case and the mods going "this got out of hand and we're letting people welch" is reasonable.

Trip report for anyone wondering about this amnesty offer, tried it and it worked -- I am posting, cool!
