SyncToy is pretty dated compared to some of the file managers that have already been mentioned, but if you need something that you can automate to clone directories between places, it's really quite good. It's also a good replacement for those of us who never got over Microsoft binning off Briefcases years ago. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=15155

Moo the cow posted:I loved that for a while, but I started to notice that it was sometimes skipping some files and was apparently a known issue at the time so I switched to SyncbackFree Oh cool, I'll give it a look! Cheers!

Code Jockey posted:4K Video Downloader: This is my tool of choice for ripping stuff down from Youtube. It works pretty well, can batch-download playlists / entire channels, and lets you also extract just the audio from URLs. If you just want poo poo off YouTube this owns. Idk about ripping off porn or whatever because I'm not a loving deviant.

humpthewind posted:I'd like to piggyback off the previous post and recommend people post browser extensions (chrome) that they use that make their daily web browsing more enjoyable. HTTPS Everywhere, 1Password and Facebook Container are my tinfoil hat extensions. Bypass Paywalls lets you read pretty much most paywalled newspaper websites. It requires Developer Mode in Chrome, but works just fine in Firefox - you will need to install from Github though. Reload All Tabs is a nice utility one because on any given workday I'll have like 10-15 tabs open on news websites, data feeds (and SA bookmarked threads, obviously) and it's nice to be able reload them all in a single click/hotkey.
