I mean, MFL has a policy about whether or not they're taking our money, so I'd say we should just roll with assuming it'll happen and we can put contracts on hold for a year if a season doesn't happen. The FA draft starts next week, as an FYI.

I emailed MFL the other day about this for a league I commish. Players sitting out will be flagged as Holdout, and ones that get sick during the season will be marked IR-Covid. In order to IR the "hold outs" our commish will have to set the "Can a player be put on IR when he's away from the team due to a contract dispute or holdout?" setting to yes. My other league is discussing expanding IR slots, holdouts must be rostered and IR'd before the season, players that are sick can be on IR. However if you pick up a free agent with the covid designation you cannot IR that player to prevent hoarding IR guys.

I just expanded our IR slots to 10 total and allowed COVID holdouts to count, so feel free to work with them as you please. To address COVID hoarders, any Free Agent who ends the seson on a COVID-related IR status will not be made eligible for FA Extension / Franchise Player. Sound fair?
