Also I haven't been following lately...jsut how much of this thread is jus poo poo talking LoU2 right now because I want to play it and also part of the reason I had to take a break from the forum was because the relentless , often trolling, negativety was really just starting to bring me down.

I dunno...I'm thinking about it and I'm just still a bit reluctant to come back. It's not about the LoU2 and holding it sacred it's just the general feeling that any post I make can start a whole thing from someone I'm not sure is arguing something they believe or if they're just arguing because it's fun for them but either way. Like there are good posters in this thread that still just constantly stir poo poo and often with opinion I know they don't have and this year has been so so so so bad and I still haven't even been able to deal with the horriblenesss that was last year. I'm sorry to dump that much on you thread out of no where. I mean I guess I never said why I left for a bit so that's been welling up for a bit, I just find it so frustrating sometimes and I'm not sure if I'm mentally in the place to handle it. It's not you, it's me. Really.

Also wow the bloom really does a number on this game The same character before and after bloom option has been turned off. Bloom on:     Bloom off:     Gonna have to keep the bloom off because that's nearing Lost Izalith levels of blinding.

Outer Wilds: I am getting a little peeved that I am at the part where it's like "oh you messed up this navigation/jumping section, time to restart the loop and fly back"? It seems there are a few of these or am I missing something? I am starting to feel like I'm doing Souls runs

I have a hot take:- I think the Neo Geo Pocket Color is a severely underrated console and that if it had been released at the same time as the Game Boy Color with just a few extra features like four buttons and if SNK wasnt literally on it's last legs financially during it's release it couldve been a real contender. Management in these studios see Schreier as an enemy seeking to tear them down, and they mention that fact, and even specifically talk about Cory Barlog's response to a different Schreier tweet regarding TLoU2, but they only talk about journalists' response to the leak and not the bigger, more important elephant in the room. Like, I think it's obvious that the Metacritic review bombing is chuds, because that's what they do when they don't like a thing, but there's a lot of legitimate criticism of TLoU2 as a representation of the excesses of AAA gaming, and the huge amount of crunch that ND workers regularly go through is very much a part of that. It's not just people exhausted from the bleakness of real-life not wanting to deal with that in their escapist media, and it's not just gross homophobic chuds, although both of those elements are in play. If you only include those two elements it takes all of the pressure off of ND; it's not their fault, it's just bigots and poor timing.

Outer Wilds: man, I have like 4 distinct leads where I've done some stuff to push forward with them but now I'm what seems like a wall with all of them lol I don't actually want any answers or to spoil myself but maybe writing things down will help me.... (outer wilds spoilers) I found the black hole forge and after moving it, it looks like I need to use a Nomai teleporter to get there? But how? I know I need to do something with the quantum moon but what? The "final rule" is in the Tower of Quantum Knowledge but how do I get up there? The Dark Bramble is still a complete mystery. I followed the expedition music but that just leads to a dead-end? I have been able to avoid the anglerfish but the research from the Ember Twin fossil isn't actually helping me? Using the clue from the observatory I was able to go beneath the Giant's Deep current to look for the probe tracking module. But all that's down there are electric jellyfish?
