I don't live in Scotland - on a hill - to be sweating sitting in my house.

Great news!

I’ve been having no end of problems with the postal service this month- between boxes being destroyed and things taking forever to get there..

Can I ask of anyone who is still waiting for their package to let me know if it’s not arrived by thursday- that will make it ten working days since posting so RM might actually do something about it. Also then we can discuss how I’ll make your order right. I’m furious that my standards in customer service and satisfaction are being hosed with by a third party.

Looking at changing up packaging and shipping methods for either the current cook or the next- watch this space

I'll say just now, mine arrived some time last week - maybe Wednesday? Also a bit bashed up, but fudge all intact, and delicious as expected.

You're a boring disingenuous arsehole who whilst being generally on the right side of history have chosen to fix yourself at one point in time of that history, and would cause nothing but trouble on the discord, and as if I needed any proof of that, you're here posting twice as much as any other poster in dull attention seeking ways looking to grind an axe over something that's been decided.

Be aware, any PAYG SIM not used for 6 months, and I mean used to send a text or make an outbound call, inbound only stuff doesn't work, will go inactive, and the number will be reclaimed.

Most operators should offer any SIM size yuou need, they mostly all use the 3-in-1 pop-out kind like what looke said

but it seems to me that arguing the rights or wrongs of Peake's original assertion will get nobody anywhere in undoing what's done.
RLB's sin wasn't the inaccuracy of the statement she endorsed. it's that she mentioned anything about Israel at all outside off her own back and outside of what the party leadership collectively have decided. Labour are walking a tightrope to avoid being dragged into this mire again, and part of the uneasy truce in the party is to STFU a bit about anything I/P. if you can't be trusted not to step on every rake laying around you're going to be perceived as a bit of a liability in the shadow cabinet.

Yeah, if it were any other topic, the inaccuracies of what Maxine said - that it wasn't the special forces, and that it wasn't that tactic in particular but teaching them tactics which may include that one, and there's plenty of evidence to prove they use that one - would have been fine, but everyone is sitting looking for rakes for the left to step on on the topic of Israel.

Please tell us that the van was stolen.
That would not have lasted a night around here.
It would be joyridden around the place and burned in a field with all the other cars.

I'm pretty certain it was non-functional to avoid just that issue.

We just bought new tyres for our Clio.

Saw a couple different options on blackcircles etc, but anything under £100 had very bad wear, so ended up going for the goodyears, and Kwik fit had then cheaper.
Was worried they would do the usual hemming and hawing about what else the car needs, but they're doing mobile fitting, so it should be fine, and the honey extension in chrome gave me a voucher that ended up with £35 off, so ended up about the same price as the Avon/Kumho options on blackcircles after all

This is not a purely public sector thing. I’ve worked all my life in the private sector because my parents were civil servants and warned me off, and as soon as I left a law firm to work in big corporates it was 100% nobody knowing who was responsible for anything and fighting about it. In fact that’s probably the human condition.

I'll echo this.
I've always worked in the private sector, but for the last 5 years or so I've dealt with a mix of public and private sector clients.

At my old job I would have told you public sector clients had bigger expectations for you to work to their standards, but at my current job our biggest customer is a private one and honestly it acts a lot like what I expected from public sector before, so I think it's more a matter of scale.

Even ignoring the debt laden situation the country is in, we've barely been managing meagre nominal GDP increases.

The BoE hasn't increased rates because inflation is within their target levels and increasing the rates would tank any economic growth, which would mean number not go up, and we can't have that.
