I used to fear spiders a great deal more, but over time I’ve grown to appreciate what they contribute to the local ecosystem, like that they eat flies, which I hate my third grade class pet was a tarantula, and it was a pretty good arachnid ambassador, as it were. li’l Terry was pretty chill for spending all day around a bunch of curious kids
