I didn’t realize anyone would dislike California’s flag enough to try redesigning it into a generic corporate logo. As a New Yorker I’m very jealous of their flag.

Each state flag displays a number indicating its order of admission to the United States. The background for all of them is blue, but the shade indicates the first letter of the state. Alaska’s flag has a 49 on a very pale blue. Virginia has a 10 on a very dark blue.

The Swedish flag has a friendly, sunny disposition, only slightly beaten there by Palau. Denmark’s is fine but it doesn’t cheer me up or anything
