It was a time of fear and no one was exempt. Scores of ppl nearly lost their homes, their families almost disintegrated. Lost. And...some even lost their lives. But, when u look back upon that dark time (as I think we all should every now and then), it will do u no good to search 4 heroes or villains. There weren't any. There were only victims. VICTIMS b/c each of us felt compelled to pay  , or to innocently gift an av or buy a smiley. I look out to my BYOB family with new eyes. I have hope for this sacred place. |
