Besides, if my daughter likes him, despite social anxiety and Asperger's, he can't be a terrible dude.
FWIW, my daughter never left the house *before* C-19... but she's usually pretty quiet. The plus side of them being noisy is that she's actually interacting with a human being and *enjoying* it. Normally wouldn't have been too much of an issue, but that particular day, it was grating.

I think it means someone was shooting him (which is, of course, how you play the game...) but missing.
Dunno, haven't played Fortnite in quite some time. Never could get the hang of the building mechanic. I like what it added to the game, but I sucked at it. If I'm being honest, I'm not stellar at the shooting people aspect of it, or any FPS, really, but I'm not the worst, most games. The guys I play with keep me around, I think, simply because I am a bullet magnet. I accel at attracting enemy fire. I'm like a bird dog, or a coal-mine canary. I step out of cover (or not) and they now know exactly where the enemy is.

edit: I, uh, also tend to yell a lot while playing. I am seriously trying to temper that a lot, since I tend to play late at night Friday and Saturday nights, while everyone else is trying to sleep. Plus, I don't like getting so angry that I yell. It doesn't help my game at all.
If they would just legalize weed here in TX, I'm sure I could reduce the issue...

edit 2: Amusingly, I have played PUBG Mobile 3 times, last time just a bit back while waiting for my car to be inspected, and all three times I have Chicken Dinnered (for those that don't play, that means I won - was the last man standing in Battle Royale,) despite being at best mediocre in the full game on console.

Can you bathe in the waters you'll be canoeing on? That's what I always did on my canoe trips. One time I went on a canoe trip that turned into 24 days without a shower. Towards the end of the trip it got too cold to go in the water anymore, and swimming the Hudson bay itself is suicidal. We had an easy time crossing the border on the way back though!

The stuff I used is syngenta, so that’s post company change and it worked great for me. One thing that can happen is you’re supposed to use protein granules and sweet bait (which is what advion is) at the same time cause ants aren’t always just looking for one type of food. The ants I had only wanted the advion and never touched the max force granules. You can also add in a non-repelling insecticide like spectre on their trails and it’ll get on them and affect the whole nest.

edit: also with Amazon wonder if maybe some old or counterfeit stuff made it out. I think I ordered mine from do it yourself pest control

That sucks. I used Advion Ant before and it was amazing. Year over year I had a problem with carpenter ants getting into the house. I kept them at bay with Home Depot level stuff, and it was a continual fight. I used Advion Ant 2 loving times over a couple week period and I haven't had the carpenter ants back in at least 3 years.

I'm out and need more, if it's not the same, I'm sad.

In other news, I'm happy. I just got a set of 30 syringes: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RSTQ6RV

I've been needing something like this to micro-apply some caulk in very tiny gaps. Looks like these will work great. But the first thing I tried was to inject wood glue under our hardwood floor. We had it installed last December and there were a couple creaky boards, on in particular in the main part of the kitchen. I drilled a 1/16" hole in the board and injected wood glue underneath it. Boom, no more squeak. And as it dries, it'll be filled and supported, so hopefully the squeak doesn't return.

It wasnt that bad, after you left I got to help put out the fire!

So if anyone isn't up on banana history before the 50s the kind of bananas imported were Gros Michel or "Big Mike". Then what's known as Panama Disease wiped them out, it's a fungal disease that rotted the plants from the inside out. Since bananas are all genetically identical they were almost entirely wiped out. The ones we get now are known as Cavendish and are immune to the disease so far.

The Gros Michel ones are supposed to taste like candy, literally. It's the artificial flavor in taffy, runts, etc if you ever wondered why those taste nothing like the Cavendish that we are used to.

I eat a lot of bananas, they are my favorite. Once I found out about the Gros Michel I had to try them. I found a place in Florida that grows them last year but they were out of season. Now they are so I ordered some and just got them today. They are still green and I'm dying for them to ripen. I got 10lbs of them and I'll share some of them to friends and family but I'll probably end up eating most of the 10lbs. I'm so excited.

Also started leash training the squeaker yesterday and she does pretty good! Getting the harness on was not as smooth but otherwise she took right to it. When the tail is up and s-shaped that's coati body language for being happy, she loves exploring outside so I try to walk her almost every day.

gently caress that with a flaming razor-dick. I wonder how they think that will fly in the secondary market? People that buy BMWs do tend to be concerned about resale value.

In cool news, while picking up a prescription for my sick wife, I found these at Walgreens:

1967 Toyota 2000GT, and a pair of 1974 Mazda RX-3s with their race pants on, all from Jada Toys. Nicely detailed, with opening doors, about 1/43 scale. All are RHD, BTW.
Walgreens also had the 2000GT in white with orange striping, and all black with plain tires. They also had modified NA Miatas in 2 colors, as well. Nice!
Most of the other cars were common eye candy: exotics, Viper, Shelby Cobra, etc. Nothing else I felt like I needed to buy. $5 each!

Also, I think it may be time for a haircut:

I like the way long hair looks, but this poo poo is starting to get in my way. I can pull most of it back in a ponytail, but the sides are still a little short and fall in my face.
On the plus side, my Big Lebowski cosplay is coming together. Need to trim the beard for that, though.
