VEHICLE: 1999 Honda Accord Type R GOAL: Rescuing my dream car from the edge of eternal boyracerhood. DIFFICULTY: My primary tool will be my wallet, but I can do some DIY'ing. The biggest and most unexpected difficulty I have encountered is that it's really hard to find a workshop willing to work on this car. Some parts are just plain unavailable. Schroedingers rust on the bulkheads. As long as I don't check, there's a chance it's not there. It was impossible to get any real answers about its condition, but it ran and had passed the government mandated biannual safety inspection, so at least it shouldn't be hopeless. Come on a journey of discovery and futility with me! Also, just loving look at it!
