Look up baby carrier reviews to see how old your baby has to be before biking with him prior to purchasing the bike. Everyone’s threshold on that is different. I liked front handlebar carriers for when my kids were around two or three.

I don’t have an actual budget. Just looking at options for riding around with my 6 and 8 year old and that seems to be a great price for something like that. I’m just trying to talk myself out of a full suspension mountain bike.

A bunch of older guys use it to bike into San Onofre. Surf spot. They surf all day until their legs are dead. Then they load up surfboards and gear onto the racks and use the throttle to ride up the hill back up to their sprinter vans. I'd say it works pretty good.

Priority current is sold through a Costco.com deal if you have a Costco card. I have a kids bike from them with the belt drive and it’s been great.
