Just got mine today! Haven't had a chance to play it yet. I actually really like the simplicity of the fold out menu. makes things easy to reference quickly since you can just flip it over. I can see the need for some rules clarity, though, through the paper menu. Echoing the above post about enemy behavior needing to be fleshed out. If you get several friends together, you don't really want to be the one not playing with your pals. Even many D&D campaigns have GMs using proxy characters that just play dumb. Games like Gloomhaven do a great job of enemy AI, but everyone pretty much agrees that it's by far the most complicated part of the rules, and it's kind of out of the scope of budding heroes. Maybe something like the enemy alternates between primary and second attack? Or every turn roll D6, 1-3 primary, 4-5 secondary, 6 special or recharge special? You could also base enemy behavior based on what kind of attack they are trying to use and describe how they will use their movement based on that, or their attack targets. I like the compact size of the box. I could see nerdy elementary school students keeping this in their desks.
