I would like to quite literally sit by a fire. Is there a thread with info on firepits, building them, buying various pre-made ones(i.e. Solostoves, propane fueled pits, etc) and such things? I am talking mainly about permanent or semi-permanent structures for the yard! We just bought a house with a yard and this is like one of the top 3 things I am looking forward to about it.

Thanks for the info guys, I might make a thread down the road, especially if I do build one, and also because so far I have read some conflicting advice on materials! My biggest concern/ thought about solo stove was the speed at which it consumed wood, which appears to be valid. Still might get one, just depends on how much work and how busy I wi be in a few weeks.
