The only thing I appreciate about birth control is that it helps reduce my hormonal break outs. My doc just started me back on it, (at age 36, booo) to try and chase down the cause of some chronic pain I've been having. Possibly endometriosis?

And the only benefit thus far is my skin is a bit better.

I also just got my first yeastie in like 3 years, which apparently can be cause by some BC. I will be so loving annoyed if that turns out to be the cause here. I ain't putting up with this poo poo regularly.

I'm terrified I'll be on my loving period while I'm travelling for my first ever solar eclipse and I wish I could induce it early.

Can you watch the eclipse from a pool?

I mean. According this guy I went to college with, a woman's body automatically turns off her period when she's in water. It's evolutionarily protective, duh.

Problem solved!

It feels like utter bullshit that I am 1 1/2 months into being on a birth control that allows for remission bleeding every 3 months and I have having a full period. Friggin breakthrough bleeding.

I have been on my goddamn period since April 17th. I am going to start biting people that piss me off. Or come near me. Or breathe too loudly.

loving. Duh. I've been so tired lately. All I can think about is how soon I can take a nap/go to bed.

Are you sure that's your period and not just sparkling hemorrhaging? The uterine lining isn't that thick, it doesn't take a month to dissolve.

One day my mom, in her late 60s, started complaining about her period and I'm like mom you completed menopause a decade ago. Whatever this is it is not a period. (It was fibroids.)

My gyno just started me on Simpesse, the one where you go 3 months, then have withdrawal bleeding, and start again. I started bleeding around a month and a half in, and reached out to her around week 2. Sshe told me to wait until the end of the pack; that's it breakthrough bleeding and it sucks but isn't a concern.

4 more days and it'll be a solid month. June 2nd I start the placebos, and I'm really hoping this poo poo will have evened out by then.

To be clear, it's not a as heavy as a normal period. Sometimes I get a reasonably 'heavy' day where a pad is justified, but mostly it's like the first few days or last few days when it's enough heavy enough for a pantiliner, too light for a tampon, and is mostly just annoying when you go to pee.
