Just a random thought I had about Kep1er's end, I wonder if the reason IST has mostly given up on Weeekly (other than being a bad company) is because they're pouring their resources into getting and training new trainees for a new girl group with Bahiyyih in it

Limelight's last comeback was literally called "Last Dance" because they intend to relaunch the group with Mashiro, Yeseo, and other trainees at the company. I don't think we've heard about any plans from any other members' companies.

A lot of it is just silently fed up office workers (especially women office workers) feeling catharsis from someone finally publicly losing their poo poo and ranting about their boss. That's not a thing that happens in Korean culture. There's a huge deference to hierarchy, priority on not rocking the boat, as well as a pretty entrenched traditional misogyny that all combine to put incredible pressure on female workers to just stay quiet, accept whatever abuse, and keep their heads down. Regardless of the substance of MHJ's points, a lot of people are probably going "drat, I wish I could do that, good for her." Also I'm sure there are a decent number drawn in just by the Trumpian spectacle of very publicly doing what you're not supposed to do and are just hanging around for the drama.
