Stringent posted:well, they did basically destroy persia and the islamic civilization at the time, which perhaps could have prevented or at least counterbalanced the eventual european imperialist control of the world. so it's really too soon to tell. pretty much any civilization that amounted to anything was a complete horror show, which says a lot about humanity being the real mistake
