Lady VG just got her pip assessment back from the DWP (she was on highest due to her needing zomorph (morphine) twice a day to function) and not only are they ending it, but apparently she needs to pay them back because she was given too much.

The only words that express how mad I am about it would get me banned.

Appeal it right the gently caress now. You need to put in a mandatory reconsideration straight away. You have 4 weeks from receiving the notification to do this.

Fair warning though the mandatory reconsideration will almost certainly fail but that's ok. Because after the Mandatory reconsideration fails you can then appeal it to the lower-tribunal which usually succeeds if it gets that far.

For that though you want professional help either from your local council/Citizens Advice or depending on your wife's condition and circumstances a specialist charity.

E: A broad appeal to anyone struggling with PIP claims if you're having trouble with yours and need advice hit me up either here or on discord and I'll be happy to talk you through what I know.

Is there a sliding scale for corruption? If I give a Tory councillor the rest of my pack of monster munch can I get the contract to fix all the potholes in the parish? Then I reinvest the profits from filling them with sand and piss into buying an MP a hearty lunch and am put in charge of all the country's prisons.

British politicians are embarrassingly cheap. You can buy a cabinet minister for £9000 just cut out all that climbing and go straight to the top.

I'm sure the media will also hold Blair, Brown and Miliband to account on their failure to act on racism.
