I thought Blue Story's ehh story was ultimately fake, because it was just adding more and more obviously dumb elements that goons love to mock I remember reading Duke Nukem Forever thread, despite not having an account yet. Observing the consesus going from hype through 5 stages of grief was a sobering experience. The game was poo poo, too. If we're remembering the same post, it wasn't a bed, it was Sega Genesis, and the whole thing was much more tragic with the woman trying to offer herself to the goon and him just trying to be done with it. Although those could be two different stories.
