Terminator 2 hates the LAPD for the racist organization it is. It's not accident that the T-1000 disguises itself as a police officer. The only person the police kill in this movie is an unarmed black man that they shoot with no warning after executing a no-knock raid on his office. They just kick in the door and execute Miles Dyson because he's a black. Compare this to how they treat the T-800. He's wanted for killing 30 police officers in 1984, he just got done shooting up a dozen police cars using a mini-gun and a grenade launcher, and while he's advancing on a SWAT team while visibly armed, he's still given a verbal warning to drop his weapon and get on the ground prior to the police opening fire on him.
