There's times where he still has really good anticipatory skills but he's also far more liable at this point to just huck that poo poo into double coverage. There are a bunch of moments that coulda won that game. Sam getting that 3rd down sack, a little more ball security, some better touch on a couple deep balls. If they can figure out the line there's a lot to work with. If they can't it's gonna be a long season. Defense looked good. Mixon looked good.

Anything other than a catch in the endzone or an incomplete pass is basically game over. getting 5-10 yards doesn't help you much as far as the kick goes. They made the right choice, but unfortunately they're the bengals so the kicker hurt himself mid follow through.
