just this week i had to explain to someone that no, advances in dna extraction are real, because they thought that as someone who occasionally works with genetics stuff i would of course know like them that dna science was over and done with in the 80s ("after all we'd already sequenced everyone by the 90s!") and that the new 9/11 remains identifications were to cover up deep state agents after explaining that to them (including that i did not have the expertise to talk about human forensic applications) i asked why, if these people had already been disappeared and operating as deep state agents for 15+ years, it would be important to re-fake their deaths now, to which they angrily replied "because they're really dead now!"

I woke up on 9/11/2001 to my normally unemotional mom sobbing and saying, “They hit New York and Washington DC. They think it was the Middle East.” I assumed she meant they hit NYC & DC with nukes and we were all gonna die that day so you can imagine my relief.
