gave the dead boy detectives a shot. first episode was a little weak but seemed like it could be fun. hard abandoned it at the start of the second episode during the scene with the cat king, just excruciatingly awful

been seeing stuff recently about the Go 25th anniversary, big GQ interview with a bunch of the peeps involved: https://www.gq.com/story/how-the-craziest-cult-movie-of-1999-got-made and how they opened the same month as The Matrix & got destroyed at the box office. then lo and behold, Criterion channel has it as part of a 1999 spotlight, so I watched it for the first time in about 24 years lol. pretty fun!
