My grad school program mandated I buy a new Apple laptop and iPad and then refused to reimburse me at all, thus obliterating my gaming budget for the foreseeable future. Now I must find the most epic games available on the most annoying gaming hardware in history. I’ve been playing lots of Slay the Spire on my iPad which is extremely ftw and I even found an external graphics card so I can play games on my MacBook (lol) like FFXIV and uhhhh League of Legends I guess. What other games are sick on these turdly devices? Please help me.

I mostly play Slay The Spire and nothing else on my phone now, but my previous go-to was Imbroglio which is a really heady puzzle game with some roguelike/dungeon crawler theming. Logged many hours in it over the course of years

Sunless Sea is a lot of fun, cool story to be found there. I played Into the Breach a lot as well. Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is a classic. The Dragon Quest games are on phones at least, probably ipad as well. 4 and 5 look like their DS ports, despite the ugly text, and are great. Stardew Valley is on there, so is Celeste and Hyper Light Drifter. Better begin to love pixel indie darlings. You need a Nintendo Switch in your life, asap.

I have a Macbook for work and like to play custom GZDoom wads on it and also a lot of Crusader Kings 2 (it’s free!) Openemu also works well on Mac, so you have a lot of Old Games available to you

i'm on a mac too. i don't play anything on it but i have steam installed, so i had the bright idea to screenshot my entire library of mac compatible games. i put a green dot next to my favorite ones.
