It's amazing to me that even though there is no competition for the Apple Watch, they still somehow keep pulling further ahead.

I wish some manufacturer of smartwatches would actually try to do something with SPO2 measurements during physical activity. While it would be far from accurate, you could probably do something with deep learning to do something with the data.

S6 has new Apple Silicon dual core chip that's 20% faster, has a new altimeter feature.. based on the A13X in the iPhone 11, but smushed into watch factor

The Mastered Mind

Main thing I want to know is if they improved battery life. Considering they went backwards with the series 5, I’m sticking with the 4 unless they can push the battery life up.

I would think this would be a priority paired with positioning this as having sleep tracking.

In terms of fitness bands, I really liked the Jawbone Up. Jawbone drove themselves out business with its design, though. To take it on or off you had to bend the electronics out of place. They would die after about 3 months and Jawbone went broke replacing them for free.

So a cellular plan for each one? Tied to your phone number or are they going in a new direction by having it be stand alone but set up on the main iPhone.

Not going to lie, probably getting these for my kids instead of cell phones.

The watch already does VO2max with a run workout. Is this now supposed to measure it while I'm sitting in front of a computer for 9 hours a day?

If it works like the watch currently does on T-Mobile, it will be $10 per device to hang it off your phone account. (YMMV with other carriers)
