it's a double-edged sword on one hand that means there isn't any one prevailing narrative being fed to the public by people in the shadows. on the other, that's still happening, just with other people saying other poo poo too, creating multiple competing narratives that are more often than not opposed, so now nobody's on the same page and mostly at each other's throats over which one is right. and none probably reflect reality very well
