so for some context I've actually been playing a two sicilies run after seeing this game and mcd is totally right; I put a lot of industry into fighters which got me air superiority...right up until the socialist republic brought in the french and british and it has been nothing but red air since.

yeah, as cool as kaiserreich is, if you aren't playing a major a lot of the times the game is effectively over once you've won whatever thunderdome you start in. You can try to build up and finish off whatever other majors exist but it's always such a pain that it's hard to bother. Hell, even if you are a major like france or germany a lot of the time it's just too much of a pain to finish up afterwards.

yeah that was exactly what happened in my Griffonian Empire game, attack skyfall "oh no that army you had ready to invade actually has to go north now to cover a flank you didn't think you needed to cover" insert 1 year of extra warfare.

the G gundam tangent 10 minutes in is enough for me to post the greatest gundam ever, the representative of neo-holland, the nether gundam. it made the finals of the gundam fight by spending 11 months pretending to be a windmill. i will edit in like, actual response to the mod/video in a bit but I had to post nether gundam first EDIT: this seems like an incredibly cool mod that is hamstrung by the fact that HOI4...isn't really an engine that works super well with how gundam works. it's a really cool idea for a mod that I'm convinced mostly exists because of how hard it is to play the gihren's greed games in english because frankly they do everything this mod does but better imo
