lol, this is a joke about Jeffrey Epstein?

No. Trump has been whining that Biden might get coached through a hidden earpiece and may be on performance-enhancing drugs to make him debate better. To the point where his campaign formally proposed that Biden be tested for both.

Yeah, Biden is doing fine. I do know that Trump rambling over with confusing nonsense and weird inside baseball crap in a loud voice is infuriating, but thats infuriating for everyone else watching this as well. No one but the CHUDS are looking at this thinking Trump is doing well.

Whats the point of these if the MODS are just gonna let trump yell and stomp over every answer?

Wallace is being very aggressive in his moderation, by US presidential debate standards. Moderators are typically more hapless and ineffective than this.

Cut the loving mics, for gently caress's sake.

They can't. Everything in a debate is negotiated between the campaigns, and there's no way in hell any presidential campaign is going to agree to allow a moderator to cut their mic.

People who think Trump is somehow "winning": do you really think persuadable voters are going to be receptive to what he's doing?

Getting into a shouting match with Trump for 2 hours is not a winning strategy. The best approach is to briefly answer a small amount of whatever Trump vomited out there, and switch to something more important that voters are interested in.

Trump is almost exclusively focused on weird inside baseball poo poo that confuses people who are not political nerds. Half the stuff Trump says voters are going "huh, who is that, what is he talking about? *WE* are yelling about how Biden should concisely answer Trump's weird insider bullcrap with insider wonky truth, but in reality what he should do is quickly dismiss it and refocus on concepts people understand and care about.

Biden trips up on his words a bit and stalls sometimes, so his *execution* could be better, but the strategy is sound.

If people were going to be "sick of the clown car", it would have happened three years ago.

The United States does not have a mechanism to call for early elections. If they did, Trump would not have lasted the term.

The voters got sick of the clown car almost immediately when they quickly realized it wasn't all an act and that Trump really was that nuts and his popularity reflects that. The GOP was thrashed in 2018, and he's doing worse than any incumbent president in the entire modern history of polls.

yeah, Santorum is now just flat-out exasperated at Trump not denouncing white supremacists. He's not really even trying very hard to talk up the GOP.
