I'm such a princess when it comes to my ability to sleep. After the monster hail storm, I'm getting a new roof on my house which is going to be quite a big job. Obviously free due to house insurance, yay! I'm pouting that soon I will be awoken by a bunch of roofers and scaffolders loving around on my property at 0600 (I literally sleep in til 0800 normally for an 0830 start). Huge increase in house value and bitching about waking up early, what a loving 1st world problem.

So in last months thread I was kinda bitching about the factory screen clock not being correct after swapping out to the Aerpro HVAC controller and Kenwood Headunit. Flicked Aerpro an email about it and well poo poo... RTFM There's literally a page on it in the manual. I'm an idiot.

First go at vinyl wrapping something today: Of course it's a compound curve and a PITA. Got it on 3rd go after figuring out how it works. It's a replacement trim piece for the dash which strangely doesn't come up on the Holden database even though I physically have a piece in onyx and a valid part number format. So modding a silver piece.

You Am I posted:Happy Bathurst 1000 Day everyone! I was out and about, completely forgot so hightailed it home to see the last year of Holden race. Neighbour had a big TV hanging between two posts in eth back yard for some breeze and I had a big bag of beef jerky and beer. That made the afternoon enjoyable. drat, that last sprint after the safety car! And with the stupid daylight savings, I had time to pull the front off the wagon to change the headlights... Yes. Before  Very hazy - might one day try and restore them  Bar off after a bit of work. 10 screws and 6 fasteners.  SHINY! Even the neighbours came over for a look  Test fit:  And funnily enough the lighting went to poo poo by the time I sorted out a dead bulb and fitted the front bar again. So no 'after' photo for now.

Some of the neighbourhood kids have started to call me Uncle Humphreys when passing on their bikes. It was a bit unsettling at first but I'm not a stranger and their parents are good friends so it's kinda neat when they get a new bike or toy and wanna come muck around with it in the forecourt (also begging to use the go-kart constantly)

Well 1AM big rear end storm waking every person dog and bird means I'm off the hook on cone racing tomorrow in 'El Rusto' Also found a quite nice 2006 Impreza for $2000... It's VERY tidy but I have enough problems have old Ford, 90s Ford, Suzuki and a few Holdens in shed/yard. Also offered a BA Ford Falcon for $300, just need the trailer on to go and grab it.

So my new commodore decided to flash the Alternator warning this morning on the way to work. This is the same problem my last one had a few months ago. Lucky for me I had a nearly new alternator at home waiting for me! Under an hour and I had the old wagon jacked up and pilfered and then put into new wagon. Interesting that the cars are a few months apart in manufacturing date in the same MY so had a little laugh about that. Poor old wagon is really turning into a parts car or 'hmm this bit of trim is in better condition' (I've even been eyeing off swapping doors). Although I am being good and ordering new replacements as I go from Holden (yelling across the street to Davo who works at the dealership to bring home parts)
