I live in the South, so there's a whole genre of horror set in my backyard. I happen to be afraid of being crushed, and trees are just about the most common thing that could do it. "Am I surrounded at all times and sides by big trees?" is a potential dealbreaker when considering homes. Me and my hubby went out to dinner w a friend and his mom recently cuz she was in town. She lives in Jersey and Hubby mentions always wanting to see the Pine Barrens and the first thing she brought up is how many bodies get dumped out there.
