Its telling that right now the most important characters are all dudes. Should all stories mathematically even out bad events happening to its characters to not be discriminatory? Indisputably the manga/anime is shounen and thus wants to appeal to a male audience but that doesn’t make it misogynistic just yet.

Yeah other than that moment the show has indeed been perfectly wholesome and cute. Especially Yuji doesn’t get the poo poo beaten out of him every other episode.
