News: Titans undefeated even after several players test positive for COVID-19. Views: Must be nice having access to top-of-the-line medical care. Now all the "It's not as bad as the flu!" dipshits will use this as fuel to open up their communities beyond what medical professionals recommend.

So Bell makes the most sense where? The Bears? There's not a ton of teams needy at RB.

On one hand I get you, on the other hand, how could you need any other game besides Packers - Buccaneers or if you're a real sicko, Jets - Dolphins?

yeah packers-buccs effectively being a national game makes this easy to take but really, having like 5 games in each window is perfect, and I don't understand why the NFL is intent on loving with my viewing pleasure also there should be 2 games on each snf and mnf

The Bucs always poo poo the bed on national games so I'm not a fan of all these games coming up (literally 5 of the next 6 are national games). At least all you Brady haters will enjoy yourselves.

I mean yeah, when given those two options. I just want lots of options, and like wandler mentioned, Redzone not to be useless in the afternoon. NFL is really going for that late slot just to be a single game like SNF or MNF.

Yeah it's always been that way, 1 national game and 1-3 other west coast home games of little consequence typically. I'm not a huge red zone guy, but I get that people want chaos, but I kinda love the ridiculous morning explosion of games followed by the come down. But yeah, nobody would be hurt if say, Bengals - Colts or Lions - Jags was a 4pm game.

Getting mad at a team for wanting to practice so drat bad seems weird to me anyway. It's not like a dozen dudes broke protocol by all going to a strip club or church together or something.

The trick is the NFL said "No unauthorized team gatherings outside of facilites." That said, the NFL is overestimating its power in thinking it can control a player's life outside of the game.

ketchup vs catsup posted:I really don’t understand why they do this. I think both the league and the networks generally want to have a national late afternoon game with as little competition as possible. They’ve never show any interest in balancing the early and late afternoon games, and it’s always been slanted to more early ones. It’s only really started getting noticed in the last decade or so since stuff like Red Zone has gone on the air, and the NFL changed their broadcast rules so everyone gets three games in the afternoon instead of potentially just two. The sole exception to this is the final week of the season, where playoff spots are up for grabs, so they’ll balance it out to have all the teams that can affect each other on at the same time, so as few teams as possible are aware they’ve been eliminated or made the playoffs prior to their own kickoff. Even that is a fairly recent change, being implemented several years after the league started making the final Sunday all divisional games and making every game open to flexing.
