A minor correction is that I believe Pushing Up Roses has kind of moved away from videogame reviews due to the fandom and pretty much has completely transitioned over to pop culture reviews (Murder She Wrote, Golden Girls, nostalgia kid horror like Goosebumps.)

I suppose one thing that makes Regular Show work so well is also because they like to break down what is in something instead of just going "here's a complete crazy food."

Here are a couple of channels I like that don't seem to get talked about in these threads:

David Seymour a young man who does cooking videos with the twist of actually trying to make all those viral recipe videos. He also does head to head competition videos where if multiple channels have made a recipe he'll try them out and rank them. His videos are good because he isn't a professionally trained chef so it has a real normal guy kind of feel.

Danny Gonzalez a former Vine star who now does commentary videos where he talks about stuff trending online. Also does bad movie reviews, tries out lifehacks and has a side gig doing comedic songs.

Drew Gooden also a former Vine star who is a friend of and frequently collaborator with Danny Gonzalez. They have similar tastes/senses of humor so if you like Danny you'll probably like Drew and vice versa. They actually went on tour together last year with the theme being that they aren't just the same guy. (the "We Are Two Different People" tour)

Danny spends months and thousands of dollars trying to get a song to go viral on TikTok. Danny does this every once in a while where he spends a lot of time and money on a goof. Like previously he (attempted) to spend $20k on internet ads in an attempt to see if those weird Instagram ads actually work.

Danny has finally moved his room around (which you can get the backstory of by following his second channel) and watches a weird kid's Halloween movie starring Ben Kingsley. I know Ben Kingsley does a lot of weird movies but this one is bizarre even for him.

The Broodwich episode of Babish is pretty ridiculous for that when he goes home made for all the luncheon meat, including a completely ridiculously long homemade mortadella.

My problem with that channel is that once he ran through all the simple builds it became less interesting. Nowadays there are so many steps that the end result becomes almost completely divorced from the original item.

There have to be talent agents who specialize in youtube by now, right? They probably get to know each other by having the same representation or by asking for crossover exposure.

There are definitely youtubers with agents but they're in the 10+ million subscriber count where they're doing stuff like getting book deals or showing up as a guest on a TV show.

The funny thing about the original Charmed is how they had to figure out a way to write Shannon Doherty off when so much of the premise was about there being three leads who are all sisters.

There are basically two types of right wing pundits, either they come from a rich family or they have a rich patron bankrolling them. A common right wing payment scam would be writing a book and then have a rich person funded organization buy their way onto the NYT bestseller list by buying in large lots and then either throwing the books away or giving them away as free gifts for some fundraiser. IIRC Milo was in the rich patron camp but he lost all his backing with his "actually it is fine for older men to sleep with teenage boys" statement.

Is this some kind of American nonsense again? I don't think I've ever seen a fan that didn't go 0,1,2,3 unless they were circular and went 0,1,2,3,0,1,2,3,0 and that's only because one set was for stationary and the other moving.

To summarize the video, it is an old safety thing that just kind of stuck around. Starting a fan on low power there's a higher chance of a stall and on older motors that creates a fire hazard as power is still pumped in but has nowhere to go so it just builds as heat.
