i was screaming at the tv for doug to call timeout. he would have just had to beat greg ward for huge TD. couldn't believe that they just punted it. i felt bad for the punter he was hype and wanted it so badly.

I think I'm really enjoying all the hot takes on Jones run as if any of those people would be able to run 80 yards in full kit at full speed without absolutely dying. Those runs are the ones you see the backs and receivers on the sideline afterwards huffing oxygen like they got covid.

If I could do it when I was 12 a professional athlete can do it. 80 yards isn't that far.

I can't believe they didn't take advantage of that. Isn't that the whole point of running the punt team out late? Don't teams practice that if a gunner is uncovered they should look for a pass?

Also yeah I'm not gonna blame Jones for falling down. You saw when he ran outta gas while trying to run too hard. I don't think you'll see many QBs be able to go that distance without getting caught or running out of gas.

But the fact that Jones can do that and the Giants don't have more run option plays or aren't trying to copy the Ravens playbook just again shows how bad Judge is.

This is pretty common for all levels of football going back to at least high school.

He looked up at the scoreboard, saw that he had defenders behind him leaned too far forward for extra speed for his legs to keep up and fell.

Understandable? Yes.

Hilarious? Extremely.

Edit:

Looking again it might of been because he kept looking behind him and got off balance either way my end point stands.

Also he had a good year in 2019, but he basically only works in a single high defense where he can function as a faster linebacker.

So far he basically is following the Mark Barron career path, and Barron has carved out a nice career so far.

Browns need 3 more wins to have their best season (more than 7 wins) since 2007

They have Texans, Giants, Jets and Eagles left on the schedule, so this would actually take more work to gently caress up
