Yeah, Henne was the guy on the bench behind Chad Pennington, as IIRC he was viewed as kinda raw. I don’t think he played at all as a rookie, but Pennington got hurt a few weeks into 2009 and it became Henne’s job for a while.

They always are.

There was like a Jags/Patriots game not too long ago that everyone had the spread set as something nuts...and the game was boring.

I think it was the 2013 Broncos vs the Jaguars where Denver was 6-0 and scoring a billion points a game while Jacksonville was 0-6 and bad. Denver was favored by like 4 touchdowns, but IIIRC it was tied or otherwise very close at halftime before Denver pulled away and won like 35-21 or something, rather than being some historic blowout.

2000 they started 1-4 then won game 6 then lost 4 more, but that was Belichick's first year and the roster needed to be cleansed.

1995 was funny because in '94 they started 4-6 and Parcells just unleased Bledsoe and had him throw 700 times that year and they squeaked into the playoffs at 10-6. So every Pats fan thought they'd build on that in '95, and instead the offense was just complete dogshit through October before they righted the ship and split the rest of their games to go like 6-10.
