I want the Cubs to sign Sean Doolittle. Not because I think he'll be super helpful, but just because I want them to have someone known to be a good human being all around.

I went ahead and filled out an mlb survey that showed up in my inbox earlier. There was a box asking how I would describe MLB and my answer was "fun players, despicable owners" the same thing for my favorite team, to which I responded "see above"

Good, although the record keeping for some of those leagues is spotty I believe

I'm going to use this as an extra reason to have some good bbq in KC while staying overnight after my son's visit to Children's Mercy.

Thanks. Today we have a follow-up telehealth meeting where we'll find out how things look. Unfortunately, we need to go home asap so we can get back to the other 3 kiddos. That is on my list at some point, however.

The Cubs are my team, but I'm rooting more for the Padres this year as I think they're going to be fun as heck.
