Dr. Honked posted:Thanks! Charlie and his mother Miggins lived into their 20's, we got them from a rescue centre where they'd been since being abandoned by a breeder. They were already 9 and 11 years old when we got them, having spent several years at the rescue place. Various people had adopted them, but found them too much to deal with. They had huge personalities, especially Charlie, were very intelligent, and liked to get into stuff. They were both very happy with us, and moved from England to Canada with us when we went. We were very privileged to be able to spend time them and to give them happy lives. Awesome cats, great pics. thank you for sharing them! |

hbd Rokit. Frank has been walking outside:  Charlie has an upper respiratory infection that has to do with the surgery he had as a kitten. Very drippy nose for a couple of days culminating in this, a real-life sleep bubble:  Mans is on antibiotics right now and is getting his drippy nose under control. |

I posted it in the Yospos Cat thread, but I'm not sure I ever posted it in here, his real home... Hard Post Ahead. Charlie had Lymphoma, it was throughout his GI tract. He was also fighting a mystery infection and had been for the past year or so. We went to a couple diffferent vets and clinics in that time and noone had really been able to determine where it is or what caused it. the stress from those two things combined with the frequent vet visits was doing damage to all his other organs. He was not doing well. He passed away in my arms at the Animal Cancer Center, which had become his second home away from home.
