I read the Pats wanted a 1st and a starter in return which seems like a lot for a 31 year old CB with one year left on contract

More like nobody was trading, because the salary cap is going to crater next year, so most teams can't afford anyone with an ongoing contract and you can't count on getting comp picks for guys, because everyone but the top players are going to get hosed on contracts this offseason.

I love how when you get past QB3 you're just like, I dunno, this guy or that guy, who loving cares, they just have to not fumble the snap and you'll take it.

Wedge Regret

Gilbert gonna play to the high standards of the Orlando Apollos and the AAF!

For those who missed it, here’s some trivia I posted in the SNF GDT: Garrett Gilbert's father, Gale, also played in the NFL as quarterback. He was the third string QB for the Bills behind Jim Kelly and Frank Reich, and then the back up to Stan Humphries with the Chargers. That's right, the man was on five consecutive Super Bowl losing teams. :thurman:

That cardinals year when there was a Skelton and they made the playoffs is my gold standard benchmark of how hosed NFL teams are once QB2 goes down much less QB3.

Out of morbid curiosity I looked up Kronke because he wasn't on this list, he gave 100k to a Hillary victory fund, then 1 million to Trumps inauguration fund and recently there was a rumour he was donating to Biden.
