You have to remember that Cowboys fans are the Yankee fans of the NFL. They're loving everywhere outside of Dallas, so this is clearly catering to them, even if the Cowboys are complete rear end right now.

The only other QBs who wore #2 I can think of off hand were Aaron Brooks and Chris Simms, so I don’t think there’s much chance for a #2 vs #2 battle. There’s a reason why there is no #1 vs #1 included. Again off hand, you’ve only got Warren Moon, Cam Newton, and Kyler Murray, but after that it’s... uh... Jeff George in Atlanta, Don Majikowski in Detroit, and Randall Cunningham in Baltimore for a combined maybe five total seasons between those guys wearing that number (With Majik Man & Randall being backups).

I'm guessing Alex Smith never played against another #11? Simms/White is a pretty damned mediocre matchup, although I guess Simms has rings. I mean Alex Smith vs a generic #11 is also a pretty damned mediocre matchup, but I'd think it'd make the also ran part.
