6. He’s no leftist but he will undoubtedly be far far more progressive than Trump and possibly more than Obama. A president who isn’t actively going out of their way to gently caress over workers or marginalized groups is big and should allow for the leftist orgs actually putting in the hard work to thrive. More and more I’m accepting that a real leftist president will probably never happen in my life. Focusing on Congress and state races is where it’s at, as well as working to ensure there is someone in the White House who isn’t the literal embodiment of the evils of capitalism like Trump. Biden is not progressive. But right off the bat his initial executive orders are miles better than the dogshit Trump trotted out.
