3 if the GOP keeps the senate, 6 if the Dems take the senate (I am not going to give myself hope and just assume that the GOP will retain their majority for the forseeable future). Mitch McConnel and pals will continue to be a bunch of unbearable obstructionists, and I'm not sure how much Biden can do through the executive branch alone and I'm not sure how the more conservative courts will play into it. I'm scared of the 2022 mid-terms, I fear the Republicans will come roaring back with a vengeance, and I expect them to impeach, convict, and remove out of petty vengeance. I mulled over the possibility of a 2024 Trump run as a kind of "joke ending" for Trump's political career, but after seeing him get the margins he got, he might stand a better chance at second non-consecutive term than I had thought. I do look forward to a president that doesn't dominate the news cycle with his stupidity, it will be a substantial improvement to my mental health.
