Their chance of a wildcard now depends on the whichever of the Colts or Titans fucks up and doesn't win the AFCS and the Browns. That's a lot that has go right for a team who has lost 4 of 5 now and still might not have Lamar Jackson back against Dallas. It doesn't matter what level of desperation you're playing with when half the team is your practice squad. The eagles defense played loving lights out against the Seahawks, but it doesn't matter when the other half of the team doesn't play at all. It's a similar situation. The steelers have struggled this year against some monumentally bad teams. Dallas w/o Dak is worse than the jets, and the steelers struggled against them with a guy who was a practice squad QB on another team a few days before the game. Steelers have had a great run, but they aren't running the table this year.
