Back in high school a friend was hooning around in his dad’s SHO and went over a little bridge over a stream too fast. Got enough air that when he came down he broke an engine mount and cracked the oil pan. He managed to get it home and into the garage without dad noticing but the subterfuge did not last.

I like when I'm stopped at a light exactly where I'm supposed to stop at the stop bar and a guy making a left turn chooses to make it too tight and barely misses my car and gives me a dirty look like I'm the one who hosed up by stopping where I'm supposed to stop.

Ever see someone doing something so loving stupid that even though it has no impact on you at all you still want to stop and honk at their dumb rear end? This person who left this parking lot to make a left turn and sat there blocking an entire lane of traffic to sit there waiting for an opening in traffic so he can make an illegal left when he could have just, you know, left the parking lot via another exit was today's.

Gah, everyone involved in this is awful: Bicyclist crosses the double-yellow to steer around traffic stopped at a red light, runs right through that red light, and gets slammed by a New Jersey councilwoman who drives off without stopping and doesn't report the crash for six hours. Bicyclist claimed in interviews that he had right of way and is disappointed that a government official would ignore the law, she's refusing calls to resign. Well, that's a first from me. Walking through a parking lot today, lady has parked her car almost but not quite within the lines of a space. She's not even egregiously outside the lines, there's plenty of room between her and the next car, it's just a sloppy job. She's out of her car, looking at it, as I approach she asks "Do you think I'm all right?" I say, yeah, you're fine, but I warn her that they've really tightened up parking enforcement later and she should feed the meter. She says "I'm just going in and out, I'm not gonna do that." I say okay, but it's a 20 dollar ticket. She thinks about this for a second and says "Okay, but in that case can you do me a favor?" and I expect her to ask me for a quarter, but instead she *holds at her keys and asks me to park her car.* I declined.

Okay, I can't begin to figure this out. Traffic headed southbound towards the intersection in the left turn lane is backed up to A, waiting for the light to turn. Dude at B realizes he's going the wrong way and is sitting there with his turn signal on waiting to make a U-turn. No other cars involved. So instead of just proceeding northbound a little bit and making a U-turn, he sits there waiting for the light to turn and for the traffic to move south of A to give him room to do it. "No, this is where the lane divider ends, I must turn ONLY HERE!"

Dad’s pulling one kid in a plastic sled, up on the snow-covered sidewalk. Mom’s pulling the other kid in a plastic sled, in the loving road. Yes, there are cars. Yes, they are slipping and sliding.
