And it's situations like these why the idea of self-driving cars are laughable.

No good deed goes unpunished.

Now she'll get to find out just how lovely gasoline fumes are in the interior of your car.

Damage is bad enough that we're going to have to get a structural engineer to stamp a repair order. Then we get to find a contractor, pull permits, etc, etc. No chance it'll be done in 4 weeks, and it's obvious to everyone but code enforcement.

I'd send that off to the local news.

I'm surprised more people don't get t-boned there but I'm guessing everyone who lives around here is on the lookout for it.

In my old age I tend to favor gas stations that aren't a complete clusterfuck trying to get out of in the direction I wish to travel.

Bonus points if they installed curbs forcing a right...that only provides a minor annoyance for those hellbent on going left.

Missed all of what? I don't understand what's going on here.

When the bro truck "rolls coal" no one is home in the adjacent lane.

Now whether he is doing it on purpose, or the truck is downshifting due to grades...I can't answer that.

Yeah, I'm thinking pickups went a bit longer with them.

When I was a kid, before I learned how to drive I would sometimes have a nightmare where I was in the back seat of the family lead sled, alone, the car barreling down the local main street, desperately reaching for the steering wheel and the column shifter, not knowing what to do.

Later on my family owned a first year Sable which had numerous lemon-y issues, including a brake pedal that would suddenly drop a couple of inches when you had your foot on it, like at a red light. It's responsible for a recurring nightmare (albeit in a different car) where I'm stepping on the brake as hard as possible but the car is slowly rolling forward into traffic.
